Otro clásico que tuve la suerte de ver en una sala de cine. Fue también uno de mis debuts en el cince independiente, y me convenció de que es sencillamente genial y de que hay un sin fin de temas por explotar en la pantalla grande. Esta película fue también el descubrimiento de Ewan McGregor, a quien quise seguirle los pasos por su buenísima actuación. Su director, el inglés Danny Boyle, siguió haciendo películas originales y exitosas como «Slumdog millionaire» y «127 hours». El soundtrack es excelente y la canción Underworld no la puedes oir y quedárte inmóvil.

Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life… But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin’ else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you’ve got heroin?
