Das experiment (2001)

Una película cruda acerca de un experimento real, donde se comprueba cómo un uniforme es capaz de influir en el sentimiento de poder o de sumisión de ciertas personas hacia otras. Todo empieza como un juego de roles, donde dividen a un grupo de hombres que voluntariamente se anotan para participar. La mitad serán prisioneros la otra mitad presidiarios.  Inmediatamente los participantes empiezan a tomarse el juego muy en serio, sobre todo aquellos vestidos de policías y encargados de «guardar el orden» en la «prisión», hasta llegar a cometer actos de ultraviolencia y sometimiento, tal como sucede en la vida real.

Nachrichtensprecher: [voiceover – spoiler] The tragic outcome: two dead, three injured, among them project leader Professor Klaus Thon. Clearly, the experiment went out of control after two days. The district attorney is investigating two possible manslaughter charges and several charges of abuse and negligence. One of the test participants has been arrested. The project direction will probably have to answer to a court. According to statements by one of the scientists, the escalation might have been prevented by aborting the experiment earlier.
