Perfume: The story of a murdered (2006)

Una de las pocas películas que me han gustado tanto como el libro. La fotografía esexcelente y el actor de Jean-Baptiste Grenouille refleja perfectamente el fondo del personaje.

Siempre me he considerado una persona demasiado sensible a los olores, es mi primera referencia para casi todo: la comida, las personas, los ambientes y hasta las ciudades, sin dejar de mencionar que muchos recuerdos me llegan por olores también. Es por eso que el libro de Patrick Süskind me conmovió y me hizo identificarme inmediatamente con Grenouille al imaginar el aroma perfecto.

«Jean-Baptiste Grenouille was born on the 17th of July, 1738. It was his mothers fifth birth, she delivered them all here under her fish-stand, and all had been stillbirths or semi-stillbirths. And by evening the whole mess had been shoveled away with the fish-guts into the river. It would be much the same today, but then… Jean-Baptiste chose differently».
